Self-Portrait Concept Sketch

WORK IN PROGRESS... This is my "original" self-portrait and the first self-portrait I have attempted. The vision for this painting came to me over a year ago. I love this beautiful picture in my head so much that I sketched it on paper first and will paint it separately.

So many things going on in my life that can get distracting. Lord, Jesus, like a father to a child who gets easily distracted, "hold my face" to keep my eyes and attention only on you, that I may hear you speak. With love, Rachael.
